Bernadette has worked for over 20 years as a producer, production manager, and as a series producer and director – across factual entertainment, live TV, drama and documentaries for RTÉ, More 4, HBO, BBC and TG4.

Starting her career in television as a script supervisor on ‘Ros na Rún’, TG4, she made the transition into factual production, working with various companies including ShinAwil, Stirling Productions, Eo Teilifís, Forefront and Magma. 

Since 2012, she has worked as a freelancer for many of the independent production companies in Ireland.  Projects include award-winning feature documentary; How to Defuse a Bomb - The Project Children Story and Gift from Death BBC: True North, Wildwoods, Beidh Aonach Amárach for BBC & TG4, Bog Amach for RTÉ & BBC and many Celtic Media Festival Award nominated and winning shows including FleadhTV and ‘Collusion’ - RTÉ. 

Not only is she experienced in finding great cast members, leading teams and encouraging new talent, she is a great storyteller with an experienced eye across schedule and budget.
